Get ready for some rather upset Linda Gray fans. News from insiders on the production of the new Dallas have stated talks have taken place to recast the role of Sue Ellen Ewing.
Linda is apparently undecided about taking part and a casting meeting has toyed with the idea of a recast with a younger actress. Eeek!!!
The idea is enough to send Dallas fans reaching for the vodka bottle Sue Ellen style.
This could just be a ploy to push talks along, the role of Sue Ellen and JR is quite minimal in the early draft of the pilot but rewrites could beef up their roles if an agreement can be reached.
Would you be happy with a recast? It seems unimaginable but let’s hope it’s all part of the Hollywood spin machine.
