The week started out with good news for the premiere episode of Dallas season 3 with time-shifted viewing lifting the show to 3.5 Million viewers.
But there was chill in the air at Southfork when live same day ratings came in for the second episode with total viewers under two million and a 0.4 in the 18-49 demo. A loss of over 700,000 viewers and almost half of the 18-49 demo
The response was not great across social media:
DALLAS remains must-flee TV on TNT: Last night’s episode averaged a 0.4 A18-49, exactly half of last week’s 0.8. Viewers: 1.9M vs. 2.7M.

But is it all bad news?
It was a tough night for Dallas, up against The Voice and the season premiere of Bates Motel on A&E so we predict a huge surge when time-shifted figures come in.
What do you think caused the ratings decline?
